About us

The italian boomerang clubs decided to create a new association and join together creating: "Società Italiana Boomerang Sportivo" (Italian society of sport boomerangs). The SIBS, as the only national boomerang association in Italy, represents our country within the Internation Federation of Boomerang Associations. As our main activities we:

• promote ourselves as the nationa reference for every person interested in boomerangs (as a sport and or for leisure only);
• organize courses to teach how to throw, make and enjoy boomerangs;
• promote the formation of new boomerang clubs;
• inform our members about how and where to buy ready made boomerangs or raw materials;
• support our members and non-members on various topics concerning boomerangs;
• publish a newsletter in italian language, keep contacts with the other international associations;
• are part of UISP (Unione Italiana Sport Per tutti, the "sport for all" italian association ), are member of IFBA
